Hi J. 1st of all you are lookin fab! You prove that "Strong is the new Skinny"!
After dieting and gyming for just under a year now, i lost 8% bodyfat and 12kgs. And I am finally "prepping" for my first competition. I am 4 weeks out!
My biggest problem is my legs!! It is too muscular and bulky compared to my upper body. I have upped my cardio to 2hours a day and training legs 4times a week, im on a 1300 calories diet, but as a result my upper body is getting smaller, and fast.
Im seing results allover except my legs!
Any suggestions, im willing to go drastic!!
Thanks for inspiring us! Every time i have an urge to cheat on my diet, i google some of your pics, always motivating me!! -

I've noticed you've been sporting a S+ark watch, I also wear them - great pieces!
I just got a couple of pieces from a kind of underground designer in London, and I'm guessing that you may dig some of the concepts he's put into his watches. They're simple in design, but intriguing concept.

Hi Jamie,
I just purchased the new Glutes special issue by Oxygen.
Let me just say you are some good motivation.
I'm 28, and a stay at home mother of two, ages 3 and 19 mos. I'm 5' 2" and about 115lbs, but I really need to increase my muscle and lose body fat, esp in my glutes.
My husband and I have some gym equipment in our basement; free weights, lat pulldown, bench press, elliptical etc.
But, it's tough to make the time to workout because with caring for little ones, it seems like there is always something more important I need to be doing, but I really have the desire to be extremely fit.
Do you have any tips on getting fast results and staying motivated? -

I am 5'4 and 130lbs, I'm about 19% BF and eat very clean and workout hard with circuits, plyos, weights, etc. I can't seem to lean out further. I want to be 120 and 12%. any suggestions? I eat mostly oats, chicken, veggies, but I do eat a lot of fruit should i be cutting back on that?

I know it's probably impossible to remember everyone you meet, but I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed meeting you in Lafayette. After Nick and I met you and after we talked about a pregnancy workout I have really decided to try and go forward with the magazine idea I was telling you about. I also am definitely fired up to compete after Cade is born in October. Thanks again for the confidence boost and for being such an inspriation to so many women including myself.

Hi Jamie,
Your hard work and dedication is admirable.
I've been weight training, heavy, for about 8 years. I'm 38, 5'9" and 150lbs. I eat 2000 cal per day,divided by 5 meals. I plan to start leaning out in three weeks. How much cardio should I do when I start this process? Should I increase my calories by 200? I'm considering a competition but I've been told that I need a base tan before applying a tanner. I'm not willing to tan my skin (anymore). My friend, who competes, tells my I'll turn green without a base tan.

I was currently reading August issue of Oxygen. In your column you mentioned traveling with homemade protein bars. Do you have a really good recipe? Also, on the days I work my legs/lower body should I incorporate cardio time or do cardio on opposite days?

I really enjoyed meeting you at the "meet and greet" session in Lafayette. You have such a delightful personality. We met briefly and I asked if I could get a statement from you about your experience with breast cancer. I think that would be super inspirational to my readers (The FIT life magazine).

I am your big fan and I'm working towards to build some muscles on my body just like you. I wanted to ask you what you think about Coke Zero. I love Coke but I'm trying to not drink it very often. Hi Jamie. you are my idol and a huge inspiration for me..i am so excited to be a member ! You are gorgeous and have a beautiful body as i hope to have someday. I have been a gym rat for the last year now and have seen some progress but my goal is to look like you so i was wondering how long it took you to get in the shape you are in now ? i am 5'4" and i started out at 140 and am now around 130 (my goal is to be 120)..i was never really over weight i just needed to be toned and i am definately on my way it just seems like its taking forever and it seems like i cant get below 130. Also, i have that little belly pudge that i cant seem to get rid of, do you have any suggestions ?
